My face is flushed red. I’m so upset that I feel like trying to climb up out of my body and escape, but that’s clearly not an option. All that I can do is stare at the computer screen and wait for that little green video chat to start flashing. All sorts of options start racing through my head. Should I get in the car and drive to the airport, catch the first flight to northern Alaska? It’s so frustrating that I literally have to stand up and pace, which I do like a madman, back and forth across our bedroom.

It seems like hours have passed when the green light suddenly starts to beep. I anxiously jump behind the computer screen and open the window.

The first thing I see is Ryan, he’s walking away from the computer and joining four guys on the bed, which is in full view of the video chat window. I immediately recognize Clint. The rest of the guys look exactly as you’d expect, large and gruff with arms as thick as trees and stubble to spare.
